SAMPLE 1 - JAM ON LOOP PART I (2004)
This is the first xample I wanted to add to my site thanks to the frequent requestes. It's a pure improvisation solo on a loop track ( Steve Vai's tune ) played with my Fender " Silvio " using a Tube Screamer-Tc Electronic- Jmp1 preamp - Tc Electronic G Force - Soundcraft Spirit Spirit Folio mixer into MOTu. The audio was recorded separately to have a higher definition and then syncronized to the audio wave of my digital Photo Camera Konica Minolta A2. There are some good passages and an high use of tapping both in legato phrasing then in the arpeggios.
SAMPLE 2 - JAM ON LOOP PART II (2004)
This is the second section of the sample above. It is always pure improvvisation on the same jam but trying to explore new ways, solutions and sounds. The sound configuration is the same of the previous sample and always here the use of tapping is evident. I found this kind of rhythm more indicated for tapping, it gives to track a more legato sound ala Brett Garsed and it's more simple to control time and approach to in-out sequences. there are also a lot of string skipping tap sequences and some legato exatonal ( Debussy scale ) phrases. I hope you'll enjoy.
WARP SPEED SUPREMACY
In a digital shred scenario (2006)

Here is the Ztar, a tremendous MIDI performance controller made by the Starrlabs. In this first introduction to the Ztar's world we wanted to show you what a ztar can do in a live contest. The video was filmed during the summer of 2006 during the "notte bianca" music festival in Menfi. the three songs here performed by Fabrizio are 100% improvvisation. This was a good opportunity for the audience to know a wonderful instrument that will change the way to play from now and on. It doesn't want to be pretentious, it is only for having fun with a new toy.
